Callander Crags Hill Race 2019
Race Reports, January 07, 2019
Club members took off for a wee race up to the Crags above Callander.
Good morning everyone, festivities all finished and now it's time to put down the mince pies and alcohol and get back on track! Not yet triathlon season but nevertheless, our club members are always keen to keep the legs moving.
Last Saturday five club members were racing against each other in the Callander Crags Hill Race; a 4.7km race through woodland up to the crags with an approximate elevation of 285 metres. Stuart Campbell reported that "his calves were burning and knees were killing him on the downhill, but he loved it really!" and Chris Davidson showed great sportsmanship as he slowed his pace down to run with and encourage a fellow 'wee' racer up the hill. Nice work everyone.
