Welcome To Perth Tri Club

Perth Triathlon Club is an affiliated club of Triathlon Scotland. The club ethos is very much on training with like minded people, to enjoy and develop your love of triathlon.  Whether you're an absolute novice looking for a challenge, or an Ironman veteran looking to improve their PB, we welcome all abilities.

Training at the moment takes place every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.  
During the warmer months we also have access to Loch Ore for open water swimming.
A typical week's training at the moment is:



Monday:  4 lanes (25m pool) Session 1 (Group B) - 8pm to 8.45pm, coached session. Session 2 (Group A) -  8.45pm to 9.30pm, uncoached session.

Wednesday: 4 lanes (25m pool) Session 1 (Group A) - 7.30pm to 8.30pm, coached session. Session 2 (Group B) -  8.30pm to 9.30pm, uncoached session.

Please contact the club for information on joining swimming.

Open Water Swimming - May to September at Lochore Meadows Country Park with safety boat cover from 6.30pm to 7.30pm (arrive earlier if you have never been before as you need to register).  Please note that these sessions are not club led, any further info on sessions contact Lochore Meadows.  Cost for the session is £4 and wetsuit is advised.




Tuesday: Indoor bike training at The Academy of Sport and Wellbeing, Perth. 7.30pm to 8.30pm over the winter months - dates to be advised.

Sunday: Group bike ride arranged by members




Thursday: Track Running 7.30pm at George Duncan Athletics Track (winter months)

Hill running (Summer months)

As well as the ‘club sessions’, members often organise meet-ups and further training themselves... there will always be someone to push you harder!
